I Need A TT I Can Handle
#1
I'm pretty certain that I will not be able to set up the Aliner again by myself due to my on going back and neck issues.

I have found a JACO J Flight Hybrid  with Q beds at each end  AND it has a bathroom.  It's a 2008 and right at $5,000.

Is anyone here familiar with this brand?

Right now the Aliners payment and storage fee is running me $173mo.  I'm willing to take a small loss on the Aliner.  It's not perfect however everything works and it has a drexle off road axle + 2 cargo carriers and a bike rack on the rear, 3 new tires with less than 5 miles on them and the bearings were done at the same time.

Have you seen the hybrid TT yet (9 FYI)
Hybrid means a cross between a TT and a popup.
(The beds on each end fold out with canvas sides like a popup)
stay tuned

I don't know anything about them, but here are some reviews, by year: https://www.rvt.com/Jayco-Jay-Flight-RV-Reviews/reviews?manu=Jayco&brand=Jay%20Flight#year-id-2008

Working on the theory that when people like something they tell three people, and when they hate it they tell 50, it looks good.

But there are lots of other reviews, too, just google the name and add 'review'.

The Jayco empty weight =2,920lbs   The Safari is rated at towing 5000 or 5,500 I don't remember which.

I have seen hybrids before and the floor plan on this model has a big U dinnete at the front that could be a bed when I didn't want to extend either fold out.  The beds usually just fold out without pulling/tugging/dragging out a "bed slide" like on my Viking pop up.  It's 17 1/2ft without the beds extended.  IT HAS A BATHROOM Big Grin  I'm not sure about tandem axles.

I'm on hold with Jayco in IN I have the vin# so I can get the info. on it.  TJB

YES I DO.  I APOLOGIZE for the prior abrupt answer.  I was on hold with Jayco in IN and reading emails at the same time.  Still no excuse for rudeness.  I'll send you a PM

Angry The new passenger window motor quit.  The AC/Heat switch quit.  The shorts in the interior lights are back. It still isn't wired to tow.  It's full of STUFF that's either coming or going to storage to be dealt with.

I know getting another trailer might be putting the cart before the horse.  The Safari has never towed anything.  I had the Aliner before I got the Safari. SO IDK IF IT WILL TOW THE ALINER....YET.

So my thinking now is, I have financeg in place to purchase a TT that I can actually live in FT if I want too.  The jayco is lower in price than the CC will cover so IF I need a newer truck/van I may be able to swing it one way or the other.

The Safari while isn't perfect does seem to have a good engine and still less than 108,000 miles on it.  i'm more of a "pick-up person"  so if it needs replacing I'd look for something with a tow package maybe a 3/4 ton at least.

Now if I can get rid of the storage units, clear out the apt.  AND LIVE IN A SMALL TT I CAN VOLUTEER AT FEDERAL AND STATE PARKS AND PAY EVERYTHING OFF AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

OR I CAN JUMP IN BED.........COVER UP MY HEAD........ AND NO ONE WILL EVER FIND ME Huh

I'M JUST SOOOO TIRED.

ARE YOU DRIVEWAY SURFING?
