Omg.. seats are out.. thank heavens!  That was a ridiculous chore!!
The bench was ‘challenging’  lolol
No room to ratchet below.. so held ratchet in place - braced on leaf springs - with chunks of hard foam.. and worked from above.. lol

Hey- stop laughing…. it worked Smile

Not having to ask for a second pair of hands,.......... priceless.

Vice grips and clamps, and foam rubber.

A lot of.people mangle nut/bolt heads with vice grips.

I like to use the flats of the jaw on the flats.of the hexagonal bolt/nut, rather than the teeth of the jaws on the corners of the hexagonal nut/bolt head, even though the latter is eaSier to get a solid grip.

Small Needle.nose vice grips.are amazingly useful. I have 3 pair as 1.always seems to find a new hiding spot.

I.once found a lost pair.of.vice grips,. Under.my van, holding a seat nut in place.

WhaT i want.to get is good pair.of 90 degree angled needle.nose vice grips.

We have nearly achieved “rolling dance-hall” status.. taking a break to run errands and let my arms catch their breath.. lol

Still need to do the Very back.. behind the wheel wells- missed 2 seatbelt bolts.. ugh.. but can tackle that a bit later today.

Sigh— Need to replace the rearmost section of plywood.. typical moisture and black fungus problem.
Yay.. Sad
Oh well, still really love this van!!

On the extra-plus side .. with all these monstrous bolt holes.. I will have no issue bolting anything down.. lol
Retaining all the backing plates and bolts.. until I don’t need them.

Not your first rodeo , making good progress.
I save all scraps at least till the build is done.

I'm not sure why but I have an uncontrollable urge to look for some 90* vise grips...
stay tuned
  Cool

I remember buying an expensive roll of metal vent tape for sealing the joints of the aluminum backed insulation I used for the floor and walls.

I’ll try to track down the exact product.
Compared to parenting, Cat herding is less complicated
