Propane Prices going UP
#1
This is NOT political, BUT...something political happened to a pipeline and we all suspect what might or is gonna happen in the oil and gas industry since the change in Washington DC.

If you need propane, you better go gitcha some soon. I buy in bulk and my cost has gone up a LOT in the last few days.

Propane prices here are rising SHARPLY. (and diesel and gas prices too but that doesn't affect most of you camping and that are mostly stationary right now.)

You've been warned.

(dont forget your mask out there on public lands!)

Cancelled pipeline from Canada. First order of Biz. If the bitch Trudeau had any balls he’d cancel water and hydro electric contracts and watch California run out of power this summer. But he won’t cause he’s a bitch.

Political but just stating real facts and not entering into debate.

First day in office he (meaning ol' Joe) begins to de-stabilize the status quo with our nearest and best international partner.

So instantly, the wind shifts, the supply of propane is cut in half and the law of supply and demand dictates the price shoot through the roof.

Or

Those who profit greatly off extracting distributing and selling petrochemicals, fearful that their profits will soon be in Jeopardy, raise prices, and hope all blame is shifted to the wind.

This price raise benefits whom?

Extra $$ into deepest pockets, and the average joe, extra short sighted, infinitesimal attention span, victim voting populace, blames the wind.

Win win.

Divided we stand.
I'm a victim.
It's all your fault.
Round and round.
Pathetic

Just checked my last 3 bills. It is up 9 cents a litre which means I paid an extra $29.51 Cdn this week. That works out to $3.55 Cdn for a U.S. gallon. Since the U.S. dollar is worth about 30% more, it is cheaper up here.

Bulk price on propane here is now $2.10/gal as I write this....it was 1.65 just a few weeks ago....

For 150 gallons that I just bought (locked in at $2/gal) it was $300.00 vs $247.50 for my last 150 gallon delivery...just over $50 more...and the driver said it was supposed to go up again this week.

Well there goes some of my $600 stimulus check that I never got. Things are starting out GRAND.
