Above is your club "Official Title" according to your own post , it seems more accurate  .

I was 14 when I went on my first long distance trip alone (with 1 of my friends) it took them about a week to find me.....
( And Snicky , I rest assured that his Mom issued that badge of "Ain't Rightness" somewhere around the previously mentioned 10yr mark.)
But just to be sure ,,,I hereby award you a "Stinkin' Badge" in recognition of such "Ain't Right" behavior at such an early age.
Gypsy blood must surely be the true cause of yer wanderin' ways  ! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr , errr , I mean yup yup !

T W O h s,,,P. O.

Save your words for the "speech of acceptance" , the Badgernator will have to post its likeness as I seem to have forgotten where I put mine.....PLUS...he likes speeches so let him make his first......

Sorry but don't begin to understand.

Well we hope to see you in Quartzsite. Some of us will be at YARC Camp. No rtr but there will still be plenty of gatherings all over the desert. Some safer than others. We mask and wash and be really careful as we already have bad lungs.

Where is YARC camp and I realize RTR is to be virtual, but know there will be many caravans, had thought to join up with a few. I have a few stops on the way to Quartzsite so will probably get there around Christmas maybe a few days before. This will be my first time staying in the Quartzsite area so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I also have COPD so am very careful and mask most of the time. Maybe I will see you there. Thanks

You have just been inducted into the You Ain't Right Club and issued your first club badge.  Badgenator will make a nice flowery speech, then you make an acceptance speech.  Hope that helps explain that part.

I see.
Or guess I didn't .

Did anyone ever tell you "you ain't right" ?
Do you know deep down without anyone telling you?

Well , you see in addition to being a bunch of nomadic travelers and a great source of accumulated experience for those looking for pointers... Waaaay off in the corner here (not that far actually) there is a forum section called YARC.
You may have seen these on other forums,,,?

It is the You "Ain't Right" Club.

From what you have posted so far about your wandering ways ....... and your poor Mom, I bet she was showing gray at an early age worrying about you,,,mine sure did.
Other moms and various strangers too may have used the term when hearing of your gypsy ways.....

So anyhoo....
You're a "natural" and therefore qualify with no tests needed either.

In recognition of some of our more "Ain't Right" member's travels or other deeds and situations , an award has been created.
well , several actually but we'll concentrate on just one atm.
The "Stinkin' Badge" .
At first I thought "we don't need no stinkin' badges" but then I realized if The "Ain't Right" Club really wasn't , well of course the badges would be required .. so here we are.

Actually , I'll tell you a secret .
In spite of it's double meanings it all doesn't mean anything. OR Does it ?
We just have fun with it.
Hang out and find out , and as blacktank said , if you have any questions somebody here will probably have the answer.

Badgernator/Got Smart should be along eventually to make the badge presentation ,,, well if he can find his boots.
stay tuned

Well thank all of you for thinking I need a badge. I have 4 or 5 months left and I intend to live them doing what makes me happy. I have always been a gypsy at heart and although I have never stayed in Quartzsite, I have stopped there many times with the big truck. Used to lay over at Ted's truck stop and eat at his restaurant go across the street to the big flea markets, loved it. Are there any of you that love flea markets? If so I have a website https://www.flea-usa.com that lists flea and farmers markets across the USA to make it easier to find them. That is one of the things I am looking forward to when I get to Quartzsite is the flea markets. I also am bringing a 5 gallon bucket of Petoskey stones that I hope to sell at the Gem and Mineral show as they are semi precious stones. I have collected them for years and have about 5 gallons of them. Does anyone know if Ted's truck stop is still there? I can't seem to bring it up on Google maps. Would love to eat in his restaurant again as it used to be very good. Well thanks again everyone.

Gypsyjoe I don’t know how many we will have this year as everything is a mess but the coordinates are here:

33 35’45.6N 114 11’35.2W

It’s in the La Posa Long Term Visitor Area and it’s does have a small cost. You can stay all season (7 months) for $180 or pay $40 every two weeks. This gets you a dump station, water and dumpsters.

Thx for the site link. The one in my town is listed too !

The club and badges are optional if you like but I think you will find many good friends here.

Glad to have ya here and that you escaped that "facility" my mom is in one right now and it's like prison with the covid lock down...
Hope you escape the cold country too.
Stick around and stay a while , take yer shoes off ....I have lots of trucker friends , I'll ask if any updates on Ted's.

I think abnorm is at YARCamp now ...?
It's a great alternative to the crowds.

Thank you for the coordinates, have them now marked in Street Atlas USA. I will be out there towards the end of December, and it sounds like the kind of place I am looking to stay the winter in. Maybe with any luck I might see you there.
