Sounds like a loose wire to me.

Changed the outlet, still no dice. My dad thinks loose wire too. I am babysitting my grandson all weekend. The breaker is off in the meantime.

I agree. I have researched local mobile tech guys and there is one just under an hour away. I talk everything over with my dad who does have experience, but will call in the expert if needed. I have plans to call anyway because of other small (ish) issues.

Test the connections at the breaker. The breaker could be bad as well. 

I pulled one out and part of the box came with it. There was a lose Main ground that caused all the problems
