I am here for YARC
#81
Just finished watching the bus video! It is awesome... wish I had a nice build like that for my van... but hopefully this winter I'll get more done. So far I have a nice floor... I'm working on insulation now. Then must learn how to panel over the insulation. Everything is a learning curve for me - I've never done work like this before.
Peace...

Along with myself I'm sure you have all the resources you need to help you along with your build. I've had so many challenges to this point I'm sure a lot of people would just give up. The thought had crossed my mind time to just got buy/finance a class C and be done with it. But by that time I was so deep into it financially I got no choice to try and use the value out of it. Mine already had the spray on foam insulation all around it about 1/2- 3/4" thick. So I just left it. If you want to see how the paneling was done in my bus there is other vids at the beginning of the vid series. We installed "nailer" boards with self tapping screws into the square tube framing of the body. We used 1x4's so that they were thick enough to screw/staple.nail stuff to. And they were still flexible enough to frame into the curvature of the walls and ceiling.

Yes, I like the spaciousness of a bus. Thanks for the clues on how to attach boards to van walls! That challenge is coming to me soon. 1x4 boards sound perfect. That will give me something to do this winter while I'm wondering why I'm still in Northern California instead of Arizona.
Peace...
