Ok. I figured out how to take the rear seats out of the Honda Fit... I wonder if it would be really hard to put them back when I need to? The glass could be tinted - an expense... but not too huge. Can front side glass be tinted or just the back? What about ventilation? I could build a bed with a bit of storage under. There is a lot of room if the seats go... there isn’t a lot of length so a front seat has to slide forward to fit a mattress in. However it is comfortable. Last time I camped I felt a bit weird looking out the front side windows at night. It’s paid off and has 120000 miles on it. Ventilation and stealth are my biggest concerns. How do I go stealth with the seats all the way forward and the glass not covered. If you cover/curtain the glass isn’t it a give away that someone is sleeping in there? Window down? Fogged up glass? Pointers please...
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Ventilation: rain guards on those side windows.
Where do you get rain guards? How do they attach? Edited... amazon. Professional installation...

I HAVEN'T DONE THESE THINGS. I'VE SEEN THEM ON YOU TUBE.
PUT PLASTIC RAIN GUARDS ON AT LEAST THE FRONT DOOR WINDOWS. THIS WILL ALLOW YOU TO HAVE THEM ROLLED DOWN A LITTLE EVEN WHEN IT RAINS. PLACE A GREY OR BLACK CURTAIN ACROSS THE CAR BEHIND THE FRONT SEATS. MAKE SURE IT REACHES THE FLOOR AND BOTH SIDES. THIS WAY TO A CASUAL OBSERVER AT NIGHT IF THEY WALK IN FRONT OF YOUR CAR/VEHICLE THEY CANNOT SEE STRAIGHT THRU. CUT SOME BLACK FOAM BOARD TO FIT IN REAR WINDOWS. ALSO SO REFLECTIX CAN BE PAINTED BLACK OR DARK GREY AND PUT IN WINDOWS. WITH DARK SIDE OUT THEY WILL LOOK TINTED. OUT IN THE BOONIES SILVER SIDE OUT IT WILL REFLECT THE HEAT FROM THE SUN. A ROOL OF REFLECTIX ISN'T CHEAP. I LUCKED OUT AND FOUND A CLERANCE OF ACCORDIAN STYLE WINDOW SHADES FOR WINDSHIELDS FOR $1 EACH AT FREDS. I BOUGHT THEM ALL. I HAVE UNLIMITED INTERNET HERE IN MY APT. IF YOU GOOGLE LIVING IN A CAR, LIVING IN A MINI VAN, OR LIVING IN A VAN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND WHAT YOUR LOOKING FOR. ALSO BOB WELLS HAS MANY VLOGS ON HIS CHANNEL OF TOURS OF CARS, VANS, PICKUPS AND OTHER VEHICLES. CRYSTAL VANNER ON YOU TUBE HAS POSTED TOURS OF I THINK 2 OF HER MINI VANS AND A FULL SIZE VAN. THAT WOMAN CAN GET MORE STUFF IN A MINI VAN THAN I'VE WOULD HAVE EVER DREAMED OF! I HOPE YOU FIND WHAT YOU NEED. DOES YOUR CAR HAVE ROOF RAILS? ALSO ON YT A GUY ON HIS CHANNEL CALLED "VITALITY MASSAGE" HAS LIVED OUT OF HIS CAR AND BOTH HE AND CRYSTAL HAVE GOOD TIPS ON HOW TO DO IT. JEWELLANN I DON'T GO CRAZY
I AM CRAZY I JUST GO NORMAL FROM TIME TO TIME

So many questions you have...
Stealth: Sun shades for the windows , lots of people use them to keep out heat if parked in the sun while away..... or are they ? (I used to use cardboard cut to fit the windows in my earlier days on the road in my pickup .) Ventilation: A fan/vent on the roof . Opening windows only goes so far. (Both put a crimp in the stealth part.) Tint: Different laws in almost every state. Sometimes reciprocal and others .....not so much. LEO discretion can come into play. Fogging glass: Fans help.
stay tuned
Maybe the tint place can tell me what can and can’t be done. My BIL might install rain guards. Sun roof vent? Card board cut from depends boxes to cover the windows... nobody would bother me - either that or they would... YARC for sure.
TJ, if I wanted to haul more stuff I’d just get a big van or a bus. I guess I want to see how minimal I can roll before I commit to a new vehicle. No roof rails. This thing can’t do a whole lot of weight. It bogs down when the fat person rides with me.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.
