electrical issue/outlets/refrigerator??
#11
Did you reset the outlet in the bathroom?

Did you test it? Then reset it?

When you get a brief burst of power at the other outlets, did you go into the bathroom and check the GFCI outlet?

Yes even with the green light on.

Yep.

I did not check it again after using the multimeter, but it has stayed green consistently.

I do believe its the one outlet that is warped/bent/not snapping on correctly. But, heck, I'm no expert and I haven't slept at a holiday inn in several months.  = )

OH! Yes check any outlet that's warped/bent/not snapping on correctly....I may have missed that if you mentioned it.

Be sure to unplug the rig from shore power when you do that. I'm not sure we can trust the breakers even when turned off.

No....but I have the outlets to replace them with to see if that fixes it. I was procrastinating...

In other news...
I did check the fuses and none were blown...which is perplexing since my "charging station" beside the bed no longer works (and worked off battery power only previously).

I do have several other outlets labeled GFI (with a sticker) that do not have a test and reset button. I have checked both of the nonworking outlets (which are both labeled GFI). The one easiest to get to looks fine and snaps back in place easily. The other one, however, is not fine. The ground wire was loose/not laying in place and the box was not snapped on fully and is warped so that I can not snap it on correctly. So I will be replacing that one for sure. They are both black and I would like to replace them with black outlets. Looking on Amazon they only have white immediately available. Any other recommended places to buy? I could probably go to a local RV type store tomorrow. I think I could use the outing! Recommendations?

I have purchase black colored outlets at Lowes in the last year.
