"The fire erupted Wednesday afternoon in a rural area and devoured timber and brush on both sides of Interstate 5 as it nearly tripled in size overnight, officials said Thursday."

I'VE SEEN POSTED ON ANOTHER FORUM "MYDAKOTAMAIL" HAS STOPPED FORWARDING MAIL WITH NO WARNING.

SOMEONE POSTED THAT IT WAS DUE TO OWNERS ILLNESS AND ONE OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS WAS TO KEEP IT GOING.  IT SEEMS THAT THIS HAS NOT BEEN DONE.

JUST F.Y.I. IN CASE ANYONE HERE CAN USE THIS INFO.

  What are your fall/winter plans
Posted by: RoamingKat - 09-04-2018, 11:45 AM - Forum: Vandwelling News - Replies (19)

I am making the assumption that fall will actually arrive this year.   (Doesn’t look like it now)

I plan to get over to Albuquerque then Flagstaff.   Before end of Nov.   then down onto the desert floor for the rest of the winter.     But till then, no definite plans except to visit Cammy and Gotsmart in KY

Where are you now?  Where are you headed to next?

Hey Y'll can I come sit by yer campfire?

Been full timing for awhile, yearly 2000's before that did a lot of camping every weekend...hubby and i lived in a Lance slide in truck camper for a long while then he became ill and we moved to my family's farm.  He passed in 2015, along with my mom.  I inherited her Class C and moved into a McMansion on wheels.  The pups and i are comfey and have added solar, awnings and looking at putting a swivel mount under the co-pilot's chair.  Currently and slowly packing up the farm to sell and head on out someplace not here.  Here is southwest Ohio.  Nice to know I wont be instructed on how to set up a portable luggable loo, since i dont need one.

I don't do politics, religion, or a lack of humor.  I talk to the animals, I pretend they talk to me (actually they do), and the trees who sing to me with their delightful breeze (and often make me sneeze), and the stars at night that dance by campfire light.  So don't mind me, I'm not really talking to myself, it just seems that way a lot of times.

Hellow, I am debit.servus on CheapRVliving Forum, when I first saw the forum several months ago it looked like a mirror of CheapRVliving forum with copied over posts. I'm here as a respite from the orwellian rule at CRVL, unless this forum is a false choice - meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

  Rigid Cordless Router
Posted by: Everyroadleadshome - 08-14-2018, 08:29 PM - Forum: Product Reviews - Replies (20)

Decided to give a cordless router a try as I needed another router and seeing as how every cordless tool I own has left me with nothing but impressed, why not.

All my cordless tools are Milwaukee and they don't yet offer a cordless router so I went with a Rigid, as all of their corded tools i've owned, have also left me very pleased, and they have a lifetime warranty on their tools, including batteries.  I didn't want to have to have two different batteries,  but I plan on replacing my Milwaukee stuff with Rigid when they start going, I figured this gives me a head start.

This thing is great, and not having a cord dragging actually makes using one much easier as it doesn't get caught on your feet or sawhorses or anything else near by causing the router to tilt and ruin the piece you're working on.  I built my window trim today doing a 3/4" round over on my top moulding (two passes with a 3/8" round over bit) and it had absolutely no trouble doing it.  I did a bead detail on the window apron and it had no trouble doing that either.  I build all my trim on a work bench like I'm constructing a piece of furniture, as you get much tighter joints that way, especially pocket hole and screwing all the joints from behind.  I was very impressed I was able to do a triple window and get all my reveals perfect!

This will be great addition and would be great for doing mobile builds, which I hope to take part in one day.

Even the smallest size pictures cannot post here.

I don’t understand it.   On other forums, I have no problem posting from my iPhone.  Why not here?

  Here it comes again
Posted by: RoamingKat - 08-10-2018, 03:59 AM - Forum: Vandwelling News - Replies (30)

The National Weather service reports that the unusual weather pattern that brought intense heat to the middle of the country, and flooding rains to the east will be returning.

The jet stream pattern so unusual for the summer months will be returning starting this weekend.  Here in N. Carolina the monsoon rains will start again and continue thru the coming week.

Geez...hope this doesn’t stall like the last time.   20 days of rain here in the low country was way past endurable....

I may have to consider changing the dates for my travel plans.....being wet all the time is just too much.
