Am I the only one that, when I attach a picture- then decide to edit the photo.. so try to use the 'remove' button in the photo attachment area..has THIS problem?

   

It does NOT remove the image-  both creates a full sized thumbnail (ow, my head) AND posts the thread

And, for some reason, I cannot remove it or edit it out...  I usually don't need instructions written on the heel.. I swear!!  lol

It is an experiment to see if I can do it...
Sleeping. Well except the curtains fall down after 5 seconds. Forget curtains. The car was not level. Good thing the back door was shut. I had to crawl up to the top every once in a while. Otherwise I sort of slept. 
Peeing. Nope. Nope. Nope. The potty box... If I can get on it the aim is off. If I turn the box the aim is still off but my feet can go on the floor instead of by my butt... if I raise the box I can’t fit my head in the car. Out the window? Open the doors? 
Pooping... Walmart is a long way off...
Shower. Forget shower. Use baby wipe. 
Do not eat granola on your bed... just don’t. 
Ventilation. Bugs. Rain. Nah. Smother..... 
do not change clothes in a car... see curtains ^^^

Ok I lasted two nights so far. Argh. It might be time for the long ride home followed up by a search for a bigger rig.

Which sites have you found to provide consistent, reliable 10+ day forecasts? Basically, high-low temperatures and precipitation probabilities.

I use to rely on Intellicast, but that got subsumed by WeatherUnderground, which itself was subsumed earlier into Weather.com collective.

WeatherUnderground sounds cool, but relies on a network of private personal weather stations that can come and go. Also, there are no PWS on government land on the network. The weather inside a NF can be different than say Flagstaff proper. [There did use to be two PWS online inside the DOE high energy Nevada Test Site, but those dropped off just over a year ago.]

I found WeatherBug recently, but wonder about their more optimistic forecasts than other sites. "Don't give me no bad news"?

I suggest: Like, Laughing Face, Light bulb, Smirk or Sheesh, Ding (when someone gets it or is right) or a Nail (for nailed it) and of course OMG!

Granted many of these are emojis we can add but that requires adding a comment and causing a thread to get too long.
Many times something makes me laugh, or someone makes a great suggestion, which doesn't really need a one-word comment but an acknowledgement would be great to give to a post.

I, not being computer savvy in that sense, have no idea how complicated a process this might be.

We need a dedicated thread for this, cuz I keep nattering up other threads.

A couple of months ago, I did some research and then some brief experimentation on this, but have to refresh my brain.
Tonight, I'll have unmetered internet for a couple of hours, and just added this to my ToDo list.

First, how bad is the problem?
Roughly how many spam posts do you see per day/week?
Roughly how many are stopped (before anyone sees them) by that external tool you use?

I'll post more tonight, just want to get some info to help me understand the scope of the problem.

In my years as a full time van dweller, (and a lifelong do-it-yourselfer), I have learned the things I could not be without, living on the road - heres a list of the ones I could think of off the top of my head - 

• A black permanent marker (seem to reach for that thing every day).
• A good pair of tin snips, pliers, and vice grips.
• 4 in 1 screw driver
• Spool of multi-purpose wire - small guage, just plain ole wire.(a supply of extra speaker wire is nice too)
• Grocery store plastic bags (yes, I know - the environment) seems Im constantly reaching for one of those as well.
• Bag of miscellaneous rags.
• Bottle of ACV (and a spray bottle).
• Hand sanitizer.
• Scrap pieces of sheet metal and cardboard.
• Candles and candle lighter (did you know there is just a regular bic inside those?).
• Utility knife and pack of blades.
• Small tablets and a few pens.
• WD40
• Mouse/rat traps. (Little bastards!)
• Water filter (survival type)
• Needle, thread, and scissors.
• Wood glue, super glue, and duct tape.
• A few pieces of 2x4, 10-12 inches long.
• Coconut oil (gotta have a jar of that stuff - desert climate, for hair, skin, you can cook with it, eat it, hell, I even oiled my boots with it.).
• Spare 5 gal bucket.

Of course there are the obvious things - tp, baby wipes, paper towel, can opener, etc. - I wanted to share a list of a few items that I find myself needing/using regularly, and that people might not have thought of.

I went to User CP and tried to change my email address from the old landline service to my new cellphone service, and I couldn't because it said it was already taken.  I don't know enough to know what to do.
