Nope...lol..it attaches to the the air intake of that goes into the carb. I've actually made a cheap one and tested it on my dads old truck with carb. While it was working he went from 16 mpg to 26 on a chevy 305.

my question is.. at what cost to the engine?

If it is so great.. why don't the "great mileage" cars have them as factory standard?

seems a bit 'free energy' horse-puckey to me..

None that I could see. My dad drag raced back in the 60's to late 70's. He said as long as it wasn't straight hydrogen and was just combined with the gasoline and the carb adjusted accordingly that the engine should actually burn cleaner and not hotter. The only reason we took it off is because it was cheaply made by us so it didn't last like one that someone could buy. After that..life just got in the way. Well that...and I bought him a newer truck.

If they are such an amazing mileage improver.. would seem silly not to.

Heyyyyy

When are you taking off again with the good doggies? Looks like all is ready. Can’t see anything else that needs to be done.

ROFL- Oh, Cammy, there's ALWAYS something that needs doing. You know that.
Once our weather clears, I am changing the brackets for the solar panels, and then titching down the wiring.
Taking the entry-step carpet off, (side barns and front doors) and hitting that area with a good coat of bed liner.
I have some body paint touch up to do.. (always..lol)
Still need to finish tidying up the battery box (and get those wing nuts, I know John.. I know)
I want to replace the discolored acrylic in the original light-box frames with good new diffuser panels and then wire in secondary led light strips that run off the batteries.
I want to change out the fog lights for ones that actually Illuminate the road, and are legal for driving...
And finish putting the solar wiring away somehow, and get the ceiling panels back up.
Also need some light and rigid sheeting to make panels for the square windows out of that awesome diamond plate reflecty John gave me...

and the list goes on...

As far as our next road trip.. I have no idea. Between work and home, we are kinda stuck right now. Sad

believe me- the road is calling
but I'm having to let it go to voice mail right now.

Got a prototype retainer in place for the window puzzles.

AND- (I know, John, I know- Finally!) those SS wingnuts for the battery terminals. Brilliant idea. Thank you.

Need to put up a different curtain rod as my current one is less than cooperative. Sad

Really suffering road withdrawal. sigh...

We landed a couple of days ago. Suddenly there are a lot of things that are in need of doing.

Wing nuts. One of the fun words
