one man's trash is another man's barbecue

You just might be onto something. Folks could definitely fill a few 12v fridges with them.

We welcome anyone to come out and get kill as many as they want. Unfortunately there are way more hogs than there is hunters. To each their own on the way to eradicate them. Better than what other plans are ...and that is the State is wanting to put on poison feed for them. Which will also poison others animals. And people will not know if the hog they just shot and taking home to eat has had any poison. Oh..it's also a slow painful death by the poison. Then the animal decays somewhere and the buzzards and other animals will be infected by the carcass meat. Domino effect there. I'll no longer discuss this on this forum for the benefit of all.

Not a fan of using poison, especially out in the natural habitat with a variety of many different creatures.

"The tannerite just saves ammo and maximizes kill numbers."

Since when has a REAL Texan shunned using some ammo??? I've known a few, and they all take pride in clean kills. I've never heard of one bragging about tacky kill jobs like that.

Are you from NY or Ohio or something, and just moved to TX? It sounds more like you're just the sadistic type and just want to watch them die slow.

The wild boar problem in the US, and especially West Texas, is so bad that they're focussed on eradication, not hunting. Not only is tannerite commonly used, but they also use helicopters and full-auto AR15s to mow them down. YouTube will turn up 100s of videos of both. Poison is illegal to use there.

not only for a little meat if you are self contained and can park on the back 40 for a week killing pigs there might be some money to be had,you can do a lot worse than parked on some ranch in texas for the winter

saw a $5 per tail bounty and 40 cent per pound live from a processor and then private ranch cash money

How can you beat that? Don't anybody answer, that was a rhetorical question. Although Popeye's answer would be interesting, I'm sure.  Tongue
