I'd live on that boat !  My fuel budget would only support that whaler? tender though !
Gotta feel lucky and have no expectations..
Research is the shortest course to luck.
Some places are more lucky than others ...

I couldn’t afford the fuel, lol!
We just do it for the fun, but, as Mel Fisher said “Todays the day!”. We just tried gold panning in the Smokys this Spring, that was pretty cool and exciting, I can see how you can get caught up in it with gold fever. Did a lot of research before we went which paid off. We will head back in late fall when everyone leaves and it will be easier to bushwack with less undergrowth AND ITS COLD, can’t wait for Fall. Too hot to do anything down here right now. It’s so hot if you go to the beach the sand is so hot it will burn you, water is 100 degrees and last night on the news they just found flesh eating amoebas in Indian River Lagoon so you can forget swimming in fresh water. Yesterday record temps same today went out to the van yesterday looked at the thermometer on the dash, turned around and went back inside.

I'd be in that 100* sea as deep as wave action would allow swingin' a beep stick. (probably would stay there till I pruned out..) Flesh eating amoebas , that sounds delightful ! Maybe feed it some of yer extra tourists ???
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh musta been something to do with the manatee porn that was in the news lately skuh kuh kuh kuh .... The sea temp here be 59 . But should be back up to 60 after the sun we had today. I'm too old to play in that for any length of time and call it fun.
Air temps were 77 (w/98% humidity) and , now 64.9+ 81% @ 11pm Uptah camp many snowbird it for winter . Maybe you just need a different address when it gets too hot ? Out west you can pick your temp by changing altitude but back east we gotta move a lot farther..
stay tuned

I have plenty of them, what kind would you like to see? Fl. Critters? Landscapes? Van? I love taking pix. We will stay in Fl. this winter. When the heat goes an comfortable to sleep/camp. Also to Western North Carolina and Smokys. We used to go to the Glades in Jan and Feb. but all the wildlife is gone. Paradise lost. Same with the Keys. Bummer.[attachment=3699][attachment=3699][attachment=3700][attachment=3701][attachment=3702][attachment=3703]

Those are some nice pics , I think Cammie mighta meant rig pics ? but wildlife and scenery are also encouraged . Some here aren't out on the road ( newb wannabe's or taking care of aging parents) and live vicariously through the posts on the forum.
Whatever you think might be interesting for a bunch of people that live or just thinking about life on wheels .
stay tuned

The AC has worked out great. Made a fiberglass blank for the window. Disassembled the unit before I installed it and thru bolted a piece of steel angle across the base of the ACs frame, screwed the unit to the door where the window seal was. Replaced all the screws and bolts with stainless. Had the cover made at a local marine canvas shop which definitely gave it a pro look. People always ask how I cut the glass and I have to tell them it’s fiberglass. The way it is mounted in the door the entire unit could be taken out and the original glass reinstalled and all the holes would be under the seal. No issues for over 15 years
