I have a good buddy who sells Air Streams. When the base camp came out with that big pretty window up front we argued about how many breaks and design flaw issues. He said because blah blah theory it would be fine in most circumstances. I said it was pretty but after the fourth replacement not so much. He won. Very few came back for damage, of that nature. Biggest authorized dealer in BC. They did end up making a light shield for it in the second year of production.
Solar panels are much cheaper than a window I’d do it and see how much milage I got before designing stuff to mitigate a risk you might not have. I got caught in a hail storm. Pulled over and parked. Got two stars on the windshield and nothing on the solar roof panel. So…

The energy storage battery you purchased is too complicated
Last time I went camping, I couldn't start the car because of insufficient power, so I paid a fee. Later, I found the xxx 5000W on the website as a backup power supply, which was very useful.
