It pricy at the front end but Dometic has broke their previous rule of no ship 12 volt A/C units to USA and are selling them now. Surprising after Nomad cooling started selling their very expensive unit. It’s roof top replacement smaller than a traditional and runs off 12volts. Comparing the numbers to a cruise air adapter unit...no argument. Dometic has warranty and years of building/branding for the RV market. They pull the current but for a couple of hours at noon, or as you say driving with charged accumulators ( as they are called here) get it down in temps. I can see running it on a timer for a couple of evening hours just to get it nice for bed. Pull the moisture out of the place and avoid the dreaded stickies.

A quiet pull to 60 in a Tesla in sub 4 would be cool. I know a noisy 8liter pull to 60 in my quad cab dodge was sexy. I like the lad too and when you read where he came from and health challenges. Boys done alright.
