Just watched BW's video in the location of the RTR, 2020

Well, part of it.

The RTR and the camping area for it are 20 miles apart, the RTR being held at the fairgrounds in/near Parker, and the camping area nearer Quartzite, but broken up into multiple areas.

The BLM wanted $600,000 (sic) to provide camping space for the estimated ten thousand attendees.

It sounds like a CF (Chaotic Fiasco) to me.  Is anyone going so they can report back?

Of course we're out here in the Quartzsite desert...……YARC camp will make a nice home base.......

And YES we'll attend at least some of the RTR/WRTR.....it will be different...…...a daylight only event

For months the discussion has raged on about the $6 per person per day the BLM demanded for the event land/lease...…...

that was the $600,000 figure

Any sales benefit HOWA.

It is my understanding that they are the only one allowed to sell anything.

The myth of 10,000 attendees is still being perpetuated as well as the story that the BLM doesn’t have enough space for the rtr. BLM has land set aside for a big event.

It seems that paying the $6 a day to camp would be much easier than packing up and trying to fight traffic in and out every day.

I’m bummed.

I’m probably in the minority but if I had a van/camper I would stay away. Even half that number would be 10x too many for me. Plus the 1600 or more mile one way drive...

It’s actually fun. You get tired of people you just go in your rig.
