If you can put a small solar panel on the south side of your barn it should be worth it in the long term. Batteries thrive when connected to solar is my experience. My friend has 4 old farm tractors stored in 4 different barns. A small solar panel screwed to each barn has improved his battery life tremendously. I’m planning on doing the same thing.
You may want to cover your entire van with a tarp if a mess might happen. Pigeons are the worst from my barn experiences.

Probably they were talking about stinky "Downy fresh!" dryer sheets. They leave an awful residual odor in a dryer. I can clean the stink out of a washer by cycling the washer with some bleach before putting my clothes in. Not an option with a dryer. I hang the wash to dry.

Mothballs will do the trick. Remember to take the mothballs out of the engine compartment before operating the vehicle.

Better check all electrical stuff around your rigs, houses, barns etc... My Dad and Step Mother's house just burned to the ground. Nobody hurt. But house is might be total loss. Not many details right now. Police and Fire Dept still there.
Two days ago my coworkers parents in MS burned up. Nobody hurt there either.
