I bought a new wildwood (Forest River) myself in 06. It was awful. First time I turned on the water I had water everywhere. I found poor connections at each fitting. The hot water in the tub was crossed over to the cold. A peek under cabinets (stapled everywhere and poorly with puny staples) revealed they didn’t even bother to vacuum up sawdust and crud. It had a Queen in front (sliding doors just fell off) and bunks in the rear. One day while towing a whole upper bunk crashed on the one underneath it. What if it would have happened with a kid in there ? None of the windows were sealed properly and the list goes on and on. I sold it at a great loss.

Never EVER take your RV to Holiday World for any type of service or body work. They screwed up more stuff than they fixed...no exaggeration! Also, come to find out that a friend of the family worked there and said they have more lawsuits against them for crap work than anyone ever dreamed of.

Thank you all for the info. I checked out the RV Horror Stories site. I think we will go with a Northstar. Now the decision is "when". Thanks for the help.

I had 2 forest rivers, both great units. it is sad so many have troubles. I am the lucky one here HAHA
