14 day limit - how many nights?

14 days and a wake up (14 nights)?
14 days and get out on the 14th day (13 nights)?

Thanks in advance.

The rule says 14 days so that is what I follow. Don't know how you would get 15 days out of that.

Just a detail. Crossing i's and dotting t's. Somewhere on the autism spectrum.
Just making sure that it is 13 nights, that's all.
13 sunrises and get out of Dodge.

DYK A 14 day jail sentence is 14 days and a wakeup.

To get down to that level of detail, only the ranger in question knows. Could you get away with staying until the 15th day and leave early?

If I arrive by 2 in the afternoon, I try to be gone by 2 PM 14 days later (generally a lot earlier). To me, this is a true 14 days and no, I didn't know that and don't wanna find out.

Stay only 13 days and you will never have to worry about staying too long.
Peace...

it is a day limit, not a night limit, so.....13 nights, leave on 14th day

you can easily change that to 14 nights and leave on the 15th day....I mean I would think anyone could do it, get away with it easily, and it seems fine to me Smile

To me, '14 days' is fourteen, 24 hour periods.

Which means 14 nights, leave on the 15th day before the time of day you arrived, 14 days ago.

However, a Ranger who is logging the license plates might have a different definition...so being safe from a citation would mean packing out on day 14, not day 15.

I have noticed that the 2-week LTVA permits are for 14 days and 13 nights.

^^^ This sounds like the definitive answer. LTVA passes for 14 days (13 nights). This is probably how the rangers would interpret it too.
