I read about these on a sailing forum I belong to and I found it on the Dometic site. It is a 40amp/hr battery so a weekend is a bit of a stretch. AD's are always long on verbiage short on specs. I thought it would be a 40amp/hr because of the name. Here it is on the Dometic site the page wasn't easy to find within their menu system.
https://www.dometic.com/en-us/us/support...0-_-197468 While it is great to see a camping/RVing company embracing lithium I know John could make a 100 amp/hr Battle Born battery work better and last longer than these. It will be interesting to see the price point when it comes out Cammalu. Might have a lowering effect on the BB units! Competition is good.

Not really. Well, we don't really know. The goal zero products in Lithium don't use a 12volt system. They output in 12 volts and in 120 but the battery isn't a true 12.7-volt battery. Hence why you can't connect it simply for recharging. I think goal zero did this to build some proprietary circuitry to increase their profit margin.
Will be interesting to see how this puts a corporate spin on the product and how the BMS works.

I don't have high hopes for any of those packs...
Most are just overpriced gimmic products..which may or may not be capable of doing any particular thing.
stay tuned
