Camp host position on the Pacific Ocean
#1
Trinidad California
Big Lagoon county park and campground. I’m trying to decide if I want to apply. Free space and electricity and water. Pay is $50 to $200 a month depending on agreed upon duties.

I am trying to decide if I want to apply for this job. The campground is nice and the location is amazing, it is a spot where the forest meets the ocean.

They would have to be ok with my leaving after Christmas for the desert.

Don't dawdle too long, or it might get taken!

Not weather I would want to commit to...way too chilly for my taste. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orick,_California#Climate

I'm always surprised how CA coastal weather defies my preconceptions of what's over there on the left coast...

It is one of those foggy coastal towns in the redwood belt.

I was told to invest in real estate as they ain’t making it anymore. Looks like Hawaii took that news poorly and started making some more on the big island.

And when I lived in Nevada we would joke that we had ocean front property once the “big one” hit California.

There will probably be a lot of land for sale in certain parts of Cali after the fires end.

When I last drove through Trinidad( pre google earth) I was thinking how awesome it would be to really have time to explore all the roads North and South which Went to the ocean.

It would be awesome if they had no issues with you leaving for the Desert gathering, and you could get your peaceful Low $$ Redwood fix too.

That coastline has few equals in the sheer beauty department, especially when the sun shines and the fog remains far offshore.
