Got time to build one ?
Much better than store bought!!!

I struggle with this decision........I know me well enough to know if I start building one, I won't be able to keep it simple no matter how good my intentions are to start off that way!

And time is the bigger issue this year.  Lots to do before weather starts turning again.  I kind of figure if I find a decent used one for 2500 bucks or so I can use it the rest of this season and resell next for the same I paid.  Then get busy on my master plan.....doing a fancy conversion on a cargo trailer.

And of course I reserve the right to change my mind 6 or 7x between now and when I actually buy something.....or have a load of lumber delivered and start building it!

5 years ago I did 2.5 months out of a 2 door Wrangler and enjoyed every second of it.   Unfortunately even though i'm only 38, the Lyme advanced the old body a few decades,  need a little more space to be able to stretch and move around and change positions.

Getting a lot better though, two years ago a truck camper was even completely out of the question.

I lost an old friend and next door neighbor to Lyme disease last year. I'm sure glad your recovery is coming along so good.

Thanks Cello. It's been quite the experience the last six years. Looking back on where I was, it's absolutely amazing I'm where I am. Grateful as can be and to be honest with myself, if I could go back in time and have this not happen to me I don't think I would change it. I've learned so much about myself and gained a different perspective/view on life, that I don't think I'd want to go back to life before these things.
