Summer 2018, where to?
#1
Thought it would be fun to see where everyone is headed this summer.

We're leaving for Florida the last week of June, staying at a friend's beach house for July.  Then down to Key West for a couple of weeks, then roam up the gulf side to visit a friend.  After that who knows, may head home, may get to I-10 and turn left.

How about you??

Colorado! The plan is fishing, but depending on how sucky it is to clean fish, it might turn into just laying in a lounger under the shade.

We cut our journeys short and came back home to work some more on the a little at a time van build. We painted the roof white. The maroon paint up there turned it into a solar oven by 8am... the white is a lot better but not perfect... We are waiting for a roof vent fan to arrive. Mr. Snik is planning out the solar build. We pulled off the original wall panel on one side. That van was put together with smoke and mirrors... so once the solar and roof vent is in we HAVE to do something with the walls. Then we have a traumatized grand child. Every time we leave she grieves. When we are home she comes over every morning and hangs out. The goal is to get out of here a few times and keep working on our van as we figure out what the van needs. We have a trip to Wisconsin coming up sometime and a trip to Columbus, Ohio.
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

Currently I am in the Redwoods. I hope to be in the eastern Sierras by July 1. It all depends on money...... worse case scenario is that I stay in the Redwoods all summer, which would be ok too.

Forgot to mention, we're also taking a run to Chicago to see the great niece, she's a year and a half old now and just adorable!

Don’t you have to drive by my house to get there?

I WAS THINKING ABOUT DOING LIKE BOCEPHUS AND FOLLOWING A FAMILY TRADITION.
{ Damn a damn Caps Lock button anyway!}

So I thought about following one of mine.
Rolleyes The Nut Hut said Queenie can't come with so I guess I won't go either.

If the Safari is travel ready I hope to find a cooler place for a few weeks at a time.  I need to stay pretty close to home maybe 200 to 300 miles.

  Smile  Well I can dream can't I?
