Agreed, re "cheap apartment,minimum wage and government handouts" - tho in a very temporary need say a few months, then a drop of govt. help is okay, especially IF you've paid into the system most of your life.

Agreed further re "get a piece of land oregon coast range and homestead" - Homesteading is really good.
