Not spending time with my dad before he passed is a big regret. Funny, I never thought we had much in common and weren't close, but as I got older too, I understood him more and more. The saddest part is that he would have loved the traveling lifestyle. He always loved the sea and his dream was to live on a sailboat and among his things were folders full of all the plans he had made but never realized. Even as a kid, his yachting magazines made me dream of building small living spaces and I had notebooks full of plans of my own. He died before the Internet came into full bloom so he never got the benefit of all the inspiration that out here.

Too bad you can't go back and redo your regrets, isn't it. Glad to see you got to travel with your dad.
