Samlex has good support (or did) did you contact them? I had contacted them about the remote control pinout voltages for the LED indicators, when I was remote controlling the inverter with an Arduino board. The tech guy, here in the USA, was happy to check it out and got right back to me. That project was to run a dorm fridge off the Samlex. The Samlex had no issues, the dorm fridge went crazy above 95F and couldn't cool down. The limit for those fridges is 85F, above that and the warranty is void. They could have a temp sensitive tattletale sticker somewhere.
My Samlex 1000 was in use 24x7 from June 1st through October 7th, sometimes 99+F, with zero issues, except when I kicked the plug out of the fridge, and the time I tripped the outlet by mistake. I also used the AC to charge a laptop and phone, and to use a rice cooker.
I recently shut down the fridge, 65 qt, that was using AC and switched back to the 45 qt that can use DC [45 qt fits into a rack that has the bank at the bottom, therefore the DC run is short. The 60qt wouldn't fit in that space and was located too far for DC.] The reason to switch was as the solar day gets shorter, I could foresee issues with not getting back to 100% on cloudy, rainy, or dust stormy days. Prior to June 1st I had used the 45 qt from mid March until June 1 with no issues with getting back to 100%.
