"No more talking about the homeless"

I was chatting with a few people who fed, and advocated for the homeless. They'd just had a meeting with the city's mayor and got him into some trouble on social media due to his comments.
Why would he want to help homeless people????

SoCal spent massive amounts of money on housing homeless, and it had two results:
1. More homeless
2. An expansion of those homeless into other communities.

In short, the more you do for the homeless, the more there are.

Homelessness in Los Angeles County is "paradoxical", says Waldman.

He points out that more than 14,000 people were moved into permanent or transitional housing last year, a 30% increase from 2015.

"In one sense we're doing our job better," he says, but the overall problem is getting worse.

And, of course Bob doesn't want homeless at his website. They won't add to his website's, nor his Amazon revenue stream.
If it never struck you, almost everything is about promoting consumption with him; which heater is best, how you should deck your roof out in as many solar panels as will fit, what's a good price for a generator, etc.

Each lady with $700 /mo income will spend something at his Amazon store, a homeless person; nothing.

I do think there's something there with extreme low income people and vandwelling- It's a better shelter than a tarp.
