Here is where we post stuff about poop
#1
and of course pee.  I've been studying plans and ideas regarding composting toilets and I think I will use a combination of bucket/bag and compost with a urine separator.  I found this and it seems to be about as simple as it gets to make such a toilet.

And of course for the fellas that stand up to pee there is this that can be connected to the urine separator plumbing.  Remember to stand closer to the urinal since length tends to get exaggerated and possibly an easy to clean drip mat as well.

There are plans on the we-pee site in pdf format you can use or build your own.  For our uses I will build a basic box with a pvc vent and switchable fan.  The pee separator will be plumbed to that mini bucket septic system I described in another post with easily attached and detached hoses.  The bucket will have a bag and I'll use  shavings from Walmart pet dept.  They have a 1500 cu in bag of pine shavings for 4 bucks so be sure to stock up on a few.  All the sites say to cover your poop with the shavings and then turn it a few times.  I'll skip the turning since that step is basically for composting.  When the bag fills up just twist tie it and toss it in the camp trash can to take to the dumpster when it gets full.  I think this method is about as simple as you can get without having the hassle of black tanks and grey tanks and emptying the mess at a dump station.

I figure for about $200 you could have a nicely working potty room that anyone can use with minimal maintenance.

Kind of expensive at $200, but seems to work well.

I've been searching for anything and everything related to this subject and every device seems to have a proud price tag attached to it. Nice setup you got there.

It's not working at all !
Turns out turkeys can fly but not very high.
It keeps bumping into trees !
I can't explain just what that does to the spread pattern !!

The non spreading answer.........
I have the regular RV toilet but I can just line the bowl
with plastic bags for the trash can option in the winter when it's NOT a good
idea to use the flush....(giant crap ice cubes don't fit through the dump valve)
so instead of building a fire under the black tank I go with(in?) the bag .
Anyone need a slightly used Gatorade bottle??? Tongue
stay tuned

You can use a large funnel like this https://www.screwfix.com/p/hilka-pro-craft-large-funnel-filter-300mm-x-190mm/7589r for a urine separator at the fraction of the price and do a bit of modification to it
