The foam seat version is about 1/3rd less.  I've seen just the separator (no seat/lid) for about $50 + UK shipping

I actually have the foam one as well...I've already broke the lid. Sad

I'm going to try to order just the folding seat without the separator to replace my foam one.

Is there no way to mount the separator to another lid or structure? I've never seen one in person to see how they are held together.

And of course for the fellas that stand up to pee there is this that can be connected to the urine separator plumbing.  Remember to stand closer to the urinal since length tends to get exaggerated and possibly an easy to clean drip mat as well.

There are plans on the we-pee site in pdf format you can use or build your own.  For our uses I will build a basic box with a pvc vent and switchable fan.  The pee separator will be plumbed to that mini bucket septic system I described in another post with easily attached and detached hoses.  The bucket will have a bag and I'll use  shavings from Walmart pet dept.  They have a 1500 cu in bag of pine shavings for 4 bucks so be sure to stock up on a few.  All the sites say to cover your poop with the shavings and then turn it a few times.  I'll skip the turning since that step is basically for composting.  When the bag fills up just twist tie it and toss it in the camp trash can to take to the dumpster when it gets full.  I think this method is about as simple as you can get without having the hassle of black tanks and grey tanks and emptying the mess at a dump station.

I figure for about $200 you could have a nicely working potty room that anyone can use with minimal maintenance.
Tractor supply or the local feed store (for livestock etc) might even be cheaper for the wood shavings

Well I can tell yall from personal experience. Do not take long shits in Tractor Supply Bathroom stalls. The timed motion-sensor lights they have in there will leave you in the dark with your pants down with paperwork to do. And no way (without making things worse) to wave or whatever to turn lights back on. Then ..like I has to do was call the store and ask for the manager. I told her " I don't know how to tell you this but I'm trapped in your store. (pause). I'm really up shit's creek right now. Please do not call the police. (pause) Store manager: Holy Crap !!! Sir where are you exactly? (she is VERY worried..freaking out). Me: Well I am in the mens bathroom with my pants down and the its really dark in here. What are the chances you could have someone come turn the lights back on so I can finish my business and get out of here. My legs are going numb from sitting here. ( At this point I start laughing out loud to her on the phone which she exhausts much worry and starts laughing too). And I walked out of there with every employee looking at me smiling and trying not to laugh. I just said in a louder than normal voice. "Well ain't that Some Shit!" which the cashier could no longer compose herself and busted out laughing with me laughing with her. True story !!
