Brit Van Build w/Some New Info
#1
There is a fairly new series of how-to videos on creating a camping van out of a Sprinter that includes some new ideas and new 'tools' that I've never seen before.  This Brit, Greg Virgoe, seems to be very knowledgeable in his work, his videos are clearly numbered/labeled, and he knows how to edit. (whee!!!)

A fantastic 'tool' is how to stick sheet foam insulation to the ceiling of the van without framing.  Absolutely BRILLIANT!

He started this series about 4 months ago, but he's slowed down through the winter, so he's not finished yet.  Yeah, he uses metric, but I keep a steel ruler in front of my keyboard, so it's easy to convert.

1 - Stripout
2 - Windows (added by professional)
3 - Electrics
4 - Roof fans (Fantastic Fans)
5 - Wiring & Lights
6 - Insulation (2 parts, still not finished due to installing wiring, lights, etc)
7 - Flooring

This is the best build series that I've seen.

Is anyone familiar with the METAL stick pins he uses to apply the rigid foam insulation to the metal van wall? See at 7:15 on

HD and Lowes only carry the effing plastic ones. I've called all the local places, and they don't even know what I'm talking about.

Thanks, that's the best price I've seen. I've marked it.

They call them all kinds of things, apparently.
