I leave Friday, Jan 12, and hope to be in theQZ by the following Sunday or Monday.. to then head back Thursday to go back to H.E.2xHockeysticks.

I am SUPER excited to get to meet so many of the folks that have been so instrumental in the manifestation of my dream. You all have been inspirational and educational beyond measure!

You use so many big words.

You seriously need road time.

Disparage not my proclivity to elucidate rather than the promulgation of obfuscation.

Got more of the solar wiring done yesterday..  (my eventual system- BlueSky 2512i + IPN Pro remote + 2 agms)
Turns out I need 8 ga big ring terminals to use my fuses.  That's ok. But delays me another day.  And I need to do all the end-dressing of the wiring that came with my kit (temp sensor, shunt connectors.. etc)
But I did get about an hour of work in.  Moved the batteries and made a big hole for wiring in/out at the back of the box, ran the pv wires through conduit.  Also got my kitchenette nailed down. and my batteries braced.  Still need to cut a board for the stove shelf..or maybe I'll just suckup a couple pounds and use the one I used on the campout last weekend.  I don't Need both my tool bag and tool box And my garage box all in the van ... lol

Being a shade under half a ton under gvwr - I would like to try to keep it there.. but still need my spare tire/mount, more water, and provisions.. hmm.. guess I need to sort out all the superfluous stuff.

Oh, and the replacement ignition parts came in!  woo

now.. if I could just figure out which side of the shunt is intended for the load-side...  no markings on it, and no different size terminals.. so I'm stumped.. I Think the side closest to the controller (right side in pic) is for load/monitor+ side  and the battery/monitor- side is on the left....  I think...

No wonder your dogs have puzzled looks on their faces in all their pictures.
