I know I can. When I signed this time I was very specific about having a month to month only plan, and I can drop them any time I like.
I was pissed about something they had done earlier. I have been with them since they were Altel, then somebody lost all my history? Since like 95 or 96.
My phone is also with them, and on the unlimited plan.
If I was to try this, it would have to run side by side with my current plan just to make sure it works.

Now if they can only remember where they put it.   Rolleyes

bLEEp, I don't have a cell phone. Isn't Verizon just cell? Can't call until this afternoon.

Ballenjx, yes, you could run it separate of your phone service. Train, the easiest answer is a simple "no". I can explain it much better over the phone. Smile

google gmail is on their website, you have to login in to so your ip should have no interaction besides connecting you to google

but it is google so they want you to use it for everything and keep track of everything but they already do this, google account or not

have fun trying to find a username

Mifi is a registered trademark of Novatel corporation.  It's a router that receives and transmits a cellular data signal and converts it into Wifi to create a mobile hot spot.  There are other companies that make these as well, but they can't call it a "Mifi".

The key here is that you need a cellular data plan from Verizon, AT&T, or somebody for one of these mobile hot spots to work.

I don't like to make advance plans.  It causes the word PREMEDITATED get thrown around in the courtroom!
I'm NOT crazy!  My mother had me tested! Cool

As I said elsewhere, if you want a job with google, just walk in their front door.
Don't bother with filling out an application because they already know everything about you. Rolleyes

Yes, this.
The plan I speak of provides unlimited 3G service to a mifi hotspot through Verizon. I am trying to keep this simple as OP does not have an understanding of the technology. I know the feeling, people start talking about techie stuff and I just stop reading most of the time. It's awesome for those who know what you are saying. But to folks like myself and others it means nothing and can be frustrating. It took GotSmart breaking down 12 volt basics to me in person to understand that.
