Prescription Medication
#1
It's fairly well known in the RV full timer community that if you have a prescription on file with any of the large pharmacy chains, principally CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart Pharmacies, you can pickup refills wherever you happen to be.

Anna reports that she, and many people she knows, have had good luck with a Medication Discount Card from:

https://www.rxgo.com/

This apparently gets you a much cheaper price on prescriptions than you would ordinarily get.  A list of available drugs in this program is here:

https://www.rxgo.com/drug-full-list

Walmarts advertises that a 30 day supply for many common drugs is only $4.  You can find out which drugs here:

https://www.walmart.com/cp/1078664

Finally, Bob over in Cheap RV Living has blogged about crossing the border to Algadones Mexico to get less expensive dental work, eyeglasses, and medication.  Apparently no prescription is needed in Mexico for many of these drugs, and it is legal to bring them back across the US border if you have no more than a 90 day supply, and they are for your own, personal use.

More details are available here:

And as a counterpoint, some possible problems with doing so are discussed here:

I don't like to make advance plans.  It causes the word PREMEDITATED get thrown around in the courtroom!
