LooC (Lucy)
Should be getting her back from my local ShadeTree mechanic - yay..
he says he did most of the things- but for the power steering leak.. apparently, needs a lift to get at it.. silly engineering. Ah well. I can always farm that one out to my semi-trusted local Shop mechanics.

Got an amusing msg from him yesterday- he sent a pic and “these appear to be original “. Well, no wonder she’s been running a smidge rough.. lol

And, just in case, I put an ignition coil in my Amazon cart.. in case he didn’t think to swap for a new one..

And I plan on doing an oil/filter change too- (a: been a couple k since her first new-to-me change…. b: eliminating any gas-contamination from misfires)

Those Iridium plugs are very very good. But not a never change item. Funny how the engines with the hardest plugs to get to, get the nicest plugs. Lol.

Glad it’s moving along and shade tree means it’s personal. So sometimes better than corporate.

Also put my mind to ventilation-
I believe I have figured out how to put the rheostat controlled usb powered water resistant 140mm computer fan in the front window. With a reversible option so in/out air flow.. now I just need my car to take proper measurements and build said wacky-contraption…. Lol

She is back !
Almost a new car! Lol
Mechanic said most stuff looked good, but for a teeeny bit of play in the motor mounts..(some time in the next year..) and the fact he couldn’t get at the power steering line.
Going to take some window measurements and get some organizing done tomorrow-

I don’t think that I will be able to make it this year. Too many things to be completed as well as family obligations.
Compared to parenting, Cat herding is less complicated
