More rocks.
#1
Yesterday we went back to the same place to look around more as we hadn’t even explored an eighth of that wash on the last two trips. We took a couple of friends with us that like rocks also and made them pinky swear to keep the place to themselves.

We found two more boulders of the red Jasper but have left them for next year and also a lot of smaller pieces of the Jasper and other rocks that look promising for cutting. Also we picked up a few that won’t be cut but will make interesting rock garden stones. I’m not positive where the rock garden will be yet. We have a pile of rocks sitting next to the RV in KY right now. Nothing like giving ourselves yet another thing to do over the summer.

One for next year. It’s the pinkish looking one in the rear.

We didn’t stick our hands or heads in but John left a couple pieces of bread for whatever lives in the small holes on the shelf. We did run across a lot of deer poop piles all in the wash.

A lot of the Puttputt folks use these to get under the highway. That’s a double one and there is a single one about a mile closer to Scadden Wash where the old RTRs were held. I’ve used them many times. The small one comes out on the other side near one of Patton’s camps and you can trail to Plomosa Rd and Bouse going that way.

Did you two ever think of exploring hobbies ,
that don't include picking up heavy things ??

Collecting big rocks , rebuilding broken down houses , RV pads , throwing telephone poles......
Y'know those things that kinda wear you out , literally.

What kind of metal detectors are in that closet ?
A piece of yellow could be heavy but THAT'S worth the pain !
stay tuned

Long Long Trailer movie, but I know you guys will make it home in good shape with those extras on board Smile

Great pics Camm
I love seeing your day and life on what you like doing. Fun to see another having a good time and feeding the deer some bread too...cool!

that looks more like a cougar cave than anything else....or a Skinwalker den? hmmm

with exploring ya might hit on rock carvings from ancient times or ? who knows, that is the fun of it all Smile you might be on Discovery channel in the future with 'I found this cave and now WE KNOW the ancient aliens visited us, I got proof!'

happy you guys are having a fab time of it all

Well there are petroglyphs out here but I haven’t run across any that weren’t already well known spots. Would be cool to find an arrowhead for sure.
