no clue where to post this!
What I could not do back in my day. Work and travel. With internet happening later in my life I was not one to chance out and about with no known work so for me personally, I see what the younger gen is doing now and CAN MAKE money from a laptop and hit the road and live life SO well. I find this very encouraging and truly I like these 2 youngsters!!
Just makes me smile seeing them in campsites and living their life and enjoying their 'day to day' in fine form. Oh how so many of us wanted this back in the day to this level of what current life tech gives so many now.
just a fun little 'what they do' and how they do it and showing others it can be done

I don't regret the job I had, but I always said it could be done remotely. Management just couldn't let go. Until I retired and covid come along. Now the editors have been remote for most of the last 2 years. I don't begrudge them thouigh, because retirement is even better.
Happy for those that can work on the road and experience everything. The homeschool kids, even better!

The bosses like to see their worker bees in the workplace. Reinforces their sense of power.
To me there would have been less useless interruptions, if I was working from home.

Agreed. Half a day could be wasted if people were overly talkative. I was guilty of it at times myself, but not like some.
