Yes, I have a little pre-made testing vial for ethanol gas, and I have used it a few times to verify the pump gas I have tested. In really bad 'chinglish' the scooter 'user manual' says to avoid ethanol gas if possible....which I already know.
I have several gas containers I fill with pure-gas and I usually use that supply for my lawnmowers, weed eaters, scooters, motorcycles, etc. But that fillup, I wanted to get an idea at the pump for the amount used...first fillup and all. When I stopped for gas, the fuel gauge was at exactly half full, with 42 miles showing. I think the tank holds 1.5 gallons. So I should be able to go about 100 miles easily.
Which is a LOT farther than the ebike on one 'fillup'!

I like those.....I like every kind and style and variety of 2 and 3 wheeled vehicles.
Unlike some of the loyal, devoted, rabid, monobrand riders of a certain breed of chrome laden girl-getters from an unknown state up north. I'll ride anything and everything.
I'm all about having fun, so, impressing other riders is no longer a part of my mindset!
I DO like that steampunk scooter...reminds me of something from ThunderDome:
That would be a hoot at Sturgis!

Hey, I resemble that remark! I've had the old FLH for over 40 years so its part of the family, so to speak. My oldest boy said the Harley was really my first born and wants it when I die. I've also had a couple of scooters back in the day, a Cushman and a Blazer. Blazer was more offroad with a 2 speed trans, low and lower. Just picture a gorilla on a tricycle and you can see why I don't have one now. I still do like the old models just not the newer styles. We had a Honda dealer across the street and would go and drool all over the Trail 90 till the Dream 305 came in.

I had many bikes in my life the last being a Honda Valyrie with 6 cyls 6 carbs & you could stand a nickel on edge run it to redline & it never fall. At that time way more USA made parts were in the honda than a harley. I like the electric scooters that look like early indians & harleys with the batteries in the fake tank. Sure look original.

I owned 3 Harleys and the first 2 were OK...the last one was the last one for several reasons.
My comment about the girl-getters is more about some owners who are so ingrained in ONLY HD that they will not even associate with, or decide to insult, riders of any other brand of motorcycle. Which is kinda silly...no one does that with cars, or RVs, or phones, or golf clubs....
I never did that. I love the sound and look of Harleys....But I choose not to own one now.

Some guy ride bar to bar not evenmaking 100 milesa day. We rode from Niles, Mi to Thunder Bay, Ont twice in the same day both times. I had my 12 year old on the back & rode with a friend that had a Harley dresser. We all did an Iron Butt also, 1350 miles in 24 hours. Fun times!

My nephew is the current biker in the family. My Dad the original Goya bike because “I couldn’t afford a car when I got back fromWW2.” Rode it till he had the distinction of being the last guy hit by a Vancouver street car. He survived but the bike took years to restore to original. I’ve described it here before. He rode very very infrequently as in years would go by. Lol.
I was banned from two wheels on road.
My nephew...he has a collection I think six bikes. Some old plated 2 strokes for off-road and driveway rides his old BMW 1000 Paris/Dakar in bumble bee colors. He did four corners, numb bum, and some other route in one month. He also did tip to tip Alaska to Argentina over the course of seven months. On that BMW.
His pride an joy is a Husky that is like a dirt Ferrari, not sure what is all done to it but 25$ large after stock. It’s as close to a team enduro bike as it comes. More carbon fiber than a fast boat. Not my scene but it draws more attention at the Rock Shop than the full dressers. Lol. He is only 7 years younger than me and can still ride it to the edge. My favorite photo of him an I is me on a Heritage Soft tail and him on the tall BMW siting side by side in Santa Monica. Cue Sabotage lol. Taken in the early 80s. The Heritage also still lives in the garage, but not that particular bumble bee BMW.
