Ahhh...it's good to be riding the ebike again!

Zipper is not fond of riding in the trailer, I have taken her for a few short rides but she barely tolerates it, kinda meowing a bit. She can't wait to jump out when we get back home....I dont dare let her out at any stops along the route...she might run off or climb a nearby tree...

Cammie on the other hand, LOVES to go for a ride!

BTW I recently had to replace the display....I had about 1500 miles on the ebike and now the ODO is starting all over again!

That was the scooter I was going to buy & there's a ton of upgrades info on you tube. I wanted lithium batteries & the speed & longer range but the main thing was the suspension for my back. You'll have a blast & put a dog in the basket & you may end up in OZ. Watch out for those flying monkeys & have fun!

I rode it last night to the Sonic....about a mile each way with a bit of an incline...did OK, slowed down but made it.

I am looking at a lithium upgrade but it will be several hundred dollars...for now I'll just keep the lead acids.

I want something small and easy to put in the trailer, just need it for errands around the campsites...it takes some getting used to. Kinda 'twitchy'.

I weighed the scooter, it scales out at 65 pounds! Most of that is battery weight and the steel frame. It's not something you can pick up and carry under your arm...but I wanted bigger tires compared to the really small e-scooters. As far as suspension, on the rough bumps and craggy pavement or gravel, you just stand up. Let your legs be the 'shock absorbers'....then sit back down on the smoother stretches of pavement. The seat is not bad...way better than the stock seat that came with my RadMini...

I'm right at the maximum weight limit, 220 pounds....hopefully I wont break it!

Oh and BTW, I added Slime before I ever rode it. Thorns all over this property here. These little skinny tires will hopefully avoid some of the thorns that the fat-tire RadMini always seems to find.

One of the reasons I bought it is the aftermarket parts are plentiful and not terribly expensive. Unlike the RadMini...jeeze that thing must be made of gold with the prices for everything!

But the Razor Metro seems to have cheaper stuff. Only cost me about $430 shipped and taxes....not too bad I would say!

The same way I ride my dual sport. Don't want to be down on the seat when the suspension bottoms.

lol...yes well...these e-scooters have no suspension at all. So yeah....standing up is the only real option to handle the rough bumps...in my case there is a railroad crossing on the way into town (via the secondary road) and it is really bad. Even on my motorcycle I stand up to go over it.

What works on this e-scooter is to slow down to right about walking speed to traverse the worst of it.

I'm right at the weight limit for this e-scooter and I don't want to snap it in half!
