hello

I'm with you on the 5 foot rule, on my rig's paint job, just add to 20 to 30 foot.

My last hollow wood surfboard, there was so much strong reading glasses work involved, that I couldn't apply it.

Hello M&M....I'd put out an invite for this forum to an old salty sailor friend who is on his 37 ft Pacific Seacraft, to join this group, and we are old friends, but he is a typical old sailor....very rough around the edges... well I guess sailing twice around the earth will take its toll on a guy (and his boat)...although currently he is spending some time near some French Island...Martinique? anyway....currently here:

https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais/det...ssel:SELAH

Talk about a nomad.....his home IS his boat.

But as far as I know, he has not built any boats, although he built his own DIY electric bicycle while on the boat, and he is the only guy I personally know who has his own water making machine and his own weather radar. His name is Jeff and we talk pretty often via ham radio....or internet, or email....

BTW, boats are just cool....but I'm a land-lubber all the way...in a panic situation, I would not know my port from my starboard....

;-)

'' You must be envied everywhere you put in...'' Especially on holidays !! which is complementary and welcome, many folks ask for me to build them one, but at this stage of my life I do not want to work again, to me it's a hobby with no schedule. Done some for family and friends so we could do trips together for fun.

here are some
