Well kraap.
My girl is in pain. She is ambulatory, and walking carefully but not stumbling, but is very guarded about even stepping up one step- as it hurts a lot. She says 'ow' just getting up from laying position.

We spent the night on the floor together. She hunch-layed with her head in my hand.
Going to vet today for diagnosis. Possible slipped disc or??
News as it develops

She is currently at the vet. Getting good meds for pain and awaiting xrays. While I wait at home and worry. Vets here are only doing curbside drop care.

She is home.
Vet says bad back sprain??
She gets to enjoy Strict rest and no cavorting of any kind. Occasional sniff-wanders of back yard, with supervision, are allowed. No jumping, etc for several weeks. Some Rxs for pain and inflammation, the usual.
So Yay and Boo.

I'll go with yay! A sprain heals slowly unfortunately. The good news is it isn't broken or a slipped disk or?
