AC Meter for Inverter Output
#11
I have a Xantrex Link 10 meter that fizzed also.  Saw a tiny spark and it stopped working. Very easy to short out the tiny wires and terminals.
So far the only meter on the G30 energy system is the meter on the DC-DC converter. I check the batteries often with the digital multimeter.
The inverter is PSW so I’m assuming the cheap AC meter will work. A kill-a-watt meter worked ok.

Yikes!, rig fire, I think that was before my time here on the forum? Hope you were not injured.
I have not ordered one of those meters because I have a kill-a-watt meter, somewhere in my clutter.
The main thing I’d like is a 48 volt inverter and build a better system. But, alas, fixing roof leaks takes priority.

When I tried using my Kill-a-Watt on my MSW inverter the meter got very hot and blew an internal fuse.
