One thing I love about driving is the scenery is never boring. Hidden in the fields are cars, houses, critters, giant trees.....

I guess it all depends on how one looks at life. You get what you look for, and miss what you don’t.

just saying there are not some nice perks to night driving! And geez the eyes on some of us at night for driving LOL

I think if one can reverse their sleep etc and do that, then heck go for it. It is really a cool idea if it is one you can handle.

I for one ain't adopting that idea. I like up with the sun and down in the dark
I hate night driving.
I can't do a reverse life like that but hey if it floats some people's boat then go for it!

I have been getting a lot of this crap lately, and I am sick to death of putting up with it.

Just because they have a dick doesn't mean they know everything about everything in existence, all the time, under all circumstances. And most of the stuff they come up with is simply flat-out insane.

They think they know everything about cars, guns, electricity, dogs, motorcycles, nuclear power, wild animals, serial killers, every type of aircraft ever made, the ocean, self defense, climbing electrical towers, how much poison you can consume without dying, all of the ways to defy the laws of gravity AND physics... ad infinitum.

My favorite? My sister's neighbor explaining to his pre-teen daughter what it's like to have a monthly period.

And the funniest thing? That they get so irate when you point out that they're wrong.

I agree , it does take reaching a certain amount of intelligence before you realize you never knew a fraction of everything.

What I hate is others coming online to spew their hatred. Sick to death of it! It is one thing to rant on a subject etc. but to just go off and man hate in general on this forum is offensive and tactless.

Hey we all got opinions here and this one is mine.

Sad state of affairs that last post from CatPerson. Ugh. Just cause you got a burr up your azz about men for some reason doesn't mean in any way Popeye's post was putting down women in the least bit.

Popeye simply gave his experience as he lived it. Night time driving he did was a pain for him and he also pointed out some crappy night time stuff that happens. Thru experience. Simple as that. What was read into it was way more than the info he posted. You saw stuff in that post and went off on a tangent for no reason.

Take the hatred elsewhere. I find it so unappealing. I wouldn't get up on another normally but this just wasn't right at all.

I don’t feel that way at all Catperson. You must have had some terrible experiences with men in the past to spew such hatred. Take it to the women’s forum so you don’t offend us all please. I don’t really want to read it there either and don’t think any of the other women do either.

I’m thankful that the men and women on this forum have a ton of experience and knowledge and are willing to share and I really don’t notice sharing more about what they know than the other. I’d share my job experiences but as an LEO, soldier, an intelligence official I can’t really say they pertain to a damn thing I’m doing now or are pertinent to anything on this forum and are boring shit to boot.

I do need all the mechanical, electrical, etc advice I can get and if the men on this forum have more experience in it so be it. I can’t even see how that effects the content at all. I may not be able to wrap my brain around a lot of it but I read it and try nonetheless.

Please refrain from such volatile behavior or if you can’t please leave the forum. There really isn’t room for that here. You are going to get everyone up in a roar. YOU ARE ASKING WAY TOO MUCH OF THE KRAKEN!!!

Imagine for one minute if that whole spill of yours was reversed and a man had typed it about women on the forum. Every woman on this forum would have been up in arms and the fur would fly. We’d rip off his face if we could.
