If it is any good what goes with it?

Repossessed panels.

The company sold installation contracts but never serviced anything. From what I can tell, it looks like a good product with bad company management.

Don’t trust their branded controllers.

I found enough complaints about their systems to think that at $100 the panel would be worth taking a chance on. The most complaints were about support. I would call Renogy and see what they have that would work with those panels. That way you have a good controller and a panel that can be replaced if necessary. If it works then you have saved over 1/2 or 2/3 the cost of a good working system.

The SunPower 327 and 250 watt panels that Santan have are fantastic for the money. Even being able to get your hands on a SunPower panel is unusual, they are cream of the crop. That said...take a meter and test each that you buy. I have found only one panel that under preformed and luckily it was before I bought them, but I did find one. (even new panels can have issues as we found out in camp last year)

Does checking open circuit voltage test much? With no load? It helps but I’d like to see the PV testers at work. So many toys and tools to try and so little time and money. Do they use a flying drone with a infrared camera?
