2013 RAV4 floor

Any suggestions to flatten the floor, especially the hump behind the folded down rear seats. Plywood? Cot?

I have a similar thing in my Ford Connect. There was humpy foam backed carpeting where the seats were mounted. I cut mine out. Under is metal humps. So I’m very interested in solutions. I haven’t decided whether or not to remove the rest of the carpet junk or leave it. Throw rugs?
