@Blanch - I'll be going home to Happy Camp... a bit upriver from Klamath, CA... Yuroks are the downriver people and where I'll be there are Karuks, the upriver people. Their community center is in Happy Camp. I've been away nearly 6 years and it is wearing on me. Lots more to say about that. I could sit here and write about Happy Camp all day long.

I’ve worked with all the local tribes in the area and was often working at Weitchpec. I know Happy Camp, I’ve even been looking at property there.

I’ll be enjoying river time in September if all goes well. Have fun in Happy Camp and say hello to the river for me. Enjoy!

@rvpopeye - Gary had the link to this forum in his signature on another forum. And I was already in YARC since 11-11-2018 with one Stinkin' Badge ... and I still can play the buffalo drum. (It doesn't require much talent.)

I confess, I took a break from that forum for months while waiting for my van to be ready. It was a bit depressing thinking every day about something I could not have.
