I noticed that too a little earlier, but voila, they is back
Not sure what happened there
Thought maybe it depended on whether one chose quick reply or new reply - but nope there on each again

You have to use the "New Reply" button to get them and not the "Quick Reply" at the bottom of the page.

also if you click reply and a post,one of the buttons bottom right of an individual post,by edit you get all the options

on a vbulletin forum all the option are there for quick reply but mybb was the easiest so...

Smilie addiction is a very specialized situation.
It speeds up posting if none are used !
The list is just wishing.

I don't think anyone is gonna complain if you just call it good the way it is now...

(of course I'm the one that can't access the little buggers....I might have an alternate agenda or sumpin.....................random smilie >
