#1
A fellow vandweller had his rig stolen. His name is Philip Kingsbury. I'm doing my part to spread the word. BOLO..Be On Look Out !!

From Philip,
Well dear fellow van dwellers. Stolen Tuesday 12 June 2018 in Tulsa Oklahoma. My 1992 Chevy 30 camper van was stolen from the parking lot of the Tandy YMCA on 51st between Yale and Sheridan. Oklahoma tag HNQ861. Yellow New Mexico Zia symbol vanity tag on front. Two Zia symbol stickers on the back windows. One yellow one blue. Antenna has electrical tape around the base and the passenger side mirror has some electrical tape on it too. Police contact # 918-596-1100. Officer Biskup Riverside Division.

If anyone reading this is on other forums or sites please take the time to post it there. I'd do it for you if it were your rig.

Shouldn't be too hard to find! Very distinctive.

I bet they just abandoned it somewhere

Please do, I'm just sorry the poor guy got his camper stolen. not to mention the unnecessary expenses he had to pay to either replace it and or for accommodation.

I really really dislike thieves. I think they belong in the same class as all the other lowest forms of society.

Hopefully he finds his van with minimal damage. I wonder if it's South of the border by now?

South of the border was my first thought too. And that's from living in Texas all my life. Plus I sold a Chevy K5 4x4 Blazer to a guy that said he was buying it to resell in Mexico. I didn't even need a title. All he asked for was a handwritten bill of sale. It had great drivetrain and running gear. But it had the normal rusted out areas. The guy told me that once he got it over there that he could get the paint and body work done for very low cost. And then he would spend a little bit on the interior (it was rough). Lastly he said for the $700 he bought it for, $300 in P&B, $200 for interior that he could very quickly sell it for $6000 USD of course.
