I don't like to make advance plans.  It causes the word PREMEDITATED get thrown around in the courtroom!
I'm NOT crazy!  My mother had me tested! Cool

I have been dealing with tire issues. Both the truck and travel trailer. I am learning more about tires every day. I am not buying tires at COSTCO again.

Anyone have a national chain they recommend that has good service and warranty and free flat repair and rotation?

^^Discount tire does rotations free if purchased there. Not sure about tire repair.

Walmart does not do tire repair. One time I sat there waiting for a tire repair for a very long time. When the tire shop manager figured out I had been waiting a very long time for a repair, he offered a really good deal on new tires. I told him I just wanted my old ones repaired. He gave me two tires all of a sudden. HIS boss just walked through the door.... so far we have done fine at Costco...
I'm not lost. I'm exploring.

I buy new trailer tires every 4 years and buy the best I can find... which are Goodyear Endurance trailer tires. Made in USA.

Cheap trailer tires will have you sitting on the side of the road crying like a baby.

Good info in the link.
One thing I was trying to find is a definition and example of the 4 digit DOT code for week and year of manufacturer. Or, how to determine the age of your tires. The stamp that has been used since yr 2000. Maybe I missed it, i'll look again.

Example: DOT 2317

Tire made the 23rd week of 2017.

Only one side of the tire is required to have the date code.

if there are letters and numbers after the DOT, then the date code is on the other side of the tire.

Mine are on the side with the white lettering, which is under the van.
