That's already been done...

Thanks for posting those links to the online ham tests...I'm sorta out of that loop...I did all that decades ago, long before internet.

FWIW, I'll mention that I used:
Ham Test Online
to prep for my tests. I took, and passed, both the Technician and the General test the same day. (You can do that, as long as you pass each test in sequence. Some people actually do the Technician - General - Advanced tests all at once.)
Anyway, I thought they had a great training system. If they had used this same system to teach math, I probably would have passed Calculus in college.
I have a Tech though never use it. My son passed his Amateur Extra at 10, yes, 10 yrs old, with morse and all (Morse for the General license back in the day 20 yrs ago). He had an article written up in QST about it. That would have been in oh, about 2000.

Now that the no code for the General license is there, that’s the better option. More spectrum to utilize.
I just can’t get motivated to start back up.

I’ve thought about doing HAM radio as I want to full time RV. Especially if I can reach people in other countries? Is that doable with a small antenna. Or would I need to rig up a big antenna? Thanks
