Spent last Friday & Saturday night at "my" wayside park in northern MI (near the WI border). Forecast lows were 26 & 24 F.
Was woken up Saturday morning by a chatter of particularly "thick" NTs who chose to park immediately beside me (I was at the farthest parking spot from the "facilities"). After they left, I peaked out of my cocoon, and for several nervous seconds thought there was a layer of frozen condensation on the
inside of my car, and was cringing at the thought of removing it.
It finally dawned on me that it was snow on the
outside. :phew:
That was a first for me.
Ended up just driving to the Library (~1 mile away, with
outside heated toilets, plus 24-hour wifi), and literally "chilling" with my Chromebook for a few hours, until the roads were cleared.
I'm looking forward to avoiding much of the rest of Winter.
P.S. Cammalu: I
knew you'd like those!
TrainChaser, I'm glad you also got a kick out of them.
